The KIPP College Preparatory Middle Charter School of Oklahoma City was earlier today presented a Mathematics Achievement Award by the Oklahoma Public School Resource Center.
The award recognizes the academic achievement in mathematics of students during the last school year.
“KIPP is one of only 10 public schools statewide to be named a recipient of the inaugural Outstanding Growth in Reading and Math Award,” a statement released by the center said.
The awards recognize students of center members who “show remarkable academic growth on a state and national scale that uses a measure of academic progress of the the Northwest Evaluation Association,” the statement continued.
